Growth in Action: Our Intern Tarek Joins the Arab Youth Forum for Climate Action 2025

We’re delighted to share that Tariq Mufaah, one of our talented interns at the Yemen Chevening Hub, has been invited to take part in the Arab Youth Forum for Climate Action 2025, held from 27–30 September in Salalah, Oman.

The forum, organized by Midad Foundation for Development in partnership with the Environment Authority of Oman and international collaborators, brings together young changemakers from across the region to exchange ideas and explore solutions to one of the most urgent challenges of our time—climate change.

A Step Forward in His Journey

For us, this isn’t just about attending a forum. It’s about celebrating the journey of a young intern who is developing his skills, expanding his horizons, and gaining invaluable exposure through opportunities like this. Tarek’s growth reflects what can happen when young people are given space, mentorship, and encouragement.

Why It Matters

Moments like these remind us why we are committed to supporting and guiding young people. When our interns take bold steps forward, they not only shape their own futures but also show what Yemeni youth can achieve with the right support system behind them.

Our Perspective

At the Yemen Chevening Hub, we see Tarek’s participation as part of a bigger story: a story of investing in potential, building confidence, and creating pathways for growth. We are proud to witness his progress and excited to see how experiences like this will shape his future.

We wish him every success as he joins young leaders in Salalah for what promises to be an inspiring and transformative forum.
