2025 Annual Report: Empowering Youth, Driving Change

From Vision to Impact
We are excited to share that Yemen Chevening Hub has published its first Annual Impact Report, “From Vision to Action: Our Year of Youth Empowerment (July 2024 – July 2025).”
This is a significant milestone for the Hub as it symbolises much more than a successful year. It represents the transformation of a vision into a tangible platform that has been making a real difference in the lives of youth from Yemen and other conflict-affected areas in the MENA region.
Over the last 12 months, the Yemen Chevening Hub , through its flagship MASAR Program , has:
- Reached over 100 youth with inclusive learning and mentorship
- Provided structured internships, expert-led sessions, and mock interviews
- Helped aspiring leaders to successfully secure Chevening Scholarships
- Laid the foundation for sustainable capacity building and community development
The concept of the Hub started as an idea: a belief that when young people are provided with the right guidance, skills, and opportunities, even in fragile and challenging contexts, they don’t just grow, they lead. Fast forward to today, this vision is now becoming a reality through the unwavering dedication of volunteers, mentors, and the generosity of our partners and sponsors.
We are grateful to Chevening, the University of South Wales, the British Council, Wales Cymru, the Study in Wales, the Study UK , and the Global Wales team for supporting this journey from the beginning.
But this is just the beginning of the Hub’s mission to empower, equip, and inspire the next generation of Yemeni and MENA leaders.
